Freefly Nationals ResultsThe Freefly Nationals were held in Sebastian, Florida as a demonstration event between the RW nationals and Freestyle and Skysurf nationals over the days of September 28th and 29th. Although this event is not an officially sanctioned USPA event, it is currently being evaluated by the USPA and FAI to be included in the world meet in the near future. Our trip to Nationals was fun and educational. We met many great people and had an great time in Sebastian (also known as "the most scenic drop zone close to Sebastian Inlet"). The weather wasn't nice the first couple of days (the so-called training days) but it cleared up on Tuesday, in time for the first competition day to start on time and get through 6 rounds. We could have finished completely that day (since there are only seven rounds) but the rules only allow six competition jumps a day so the last round finished Wednesday morning. We have a couple of pictures pages: One from the trip with pics of people we met and places we saw, and one with pics of the competitors. Sebastian is really a beautiful area of the country, and the people at the DZ were friendly and courteous to us while we were there. The results of the comp were:
