The second Monkey Claw Freefly Jam of the new Millenium took place over Labor Day weekend, September 2nd-4th and this thing kicked ass!! Once again, we had nearly 100 people show up for a the weekend! The weekend featured skydivers from around the world, another all-night rave with three DJ's and a laser light show, an awesome raffle featuring awesome prizes, a great pig-roast and the Skydive Cross Keys Pro-Am competition!

The skydiving was awesome, with jumpers of all variety participating in tube jumps, flocking dives, tracking dives and the competition itself! The comp featured us and the boys from Psycho Cirkus duking it out to a final score which separated us by a mere 10 points! Many thanks again to Adam Rosen for helping us out with the competition (flying camera for us) and assisting with the load organizing! Psycho Cirkus won the comp because they were flying their asses off with Andy Staich from Speed Curve Productions standing in for Robert and some really hot skydiving but we tried to keep up and give them a run for their money!

Once again there was a bit of rain and weather that we had to endure. We're starting to think that it has to do with Monkey Claw and Psycho Cirkus getting together, because it seems to happen whenever they are in the same state! We still got a lot of jumping in during the weekend, including coaching for the beginning and intermediate jumpers, and some great load organizing for everyone else!
